On Saturday, the Crusaders took on Clarksburg Notre Dame in the first of two games. The Crusaders gained a lead over the Irish late in the game, however a 5-run 5th inning propelled the Irish to a 6-4 victory over the Crusaders. In the second game on Saturday the Crusaders took on the Madonna Blue Dons. This game was a wild back and forth game, however the Blue Dons emerged victorious due to a walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th.

The Crusaders improved this weekend as they successfully competed against quality Class-A competition. The Crusaders look to end a 5 game losing skid tonight against rival Williamstown. The game will take place at Marshall Field with first pitch scheduled for 5 PM. Let’s Go Blue!
