Boys Middle School Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · Crusaders’ Walk-Off Winner Forces Game 3

Last night, the Crusaders took on the Williamstown Yellow Jackets in Game 2 of the Sectional Finals. Facing elimination, the Crusaders came out strong, scoring three runs off of the Yellow Jackets in the 1st Inning. The PCHS offense was held silent until the 6th inning when they found themselves behind 4-3. The Crusaders tied the game after Daniel Wolf singled home the tying run with two outs. In the 7th, Cary Casto began the inning with a leadoff walk. Four batters later, PCHS was threatening as the winning run was on third base with two outs. Issac Walters singled to right center to bring the winning run home and keep the Crusaders alive in the hunt for a Sectional Championship.

Tonight, the Crusaders take on Williamstown in a Game 3 elimination game, as the victor will move on to Regionals and the loser will be done for the season. First Pitch for Game 3 is scheduled for 5 PM at Williamstown. Come out and support your Crusaders!
