Crusaders News · After Big Win, Crusaderettes Shift Focus to Wirt

Over the weekend, the Parkersburg Catholic Crusaderettes (3-0) picked up a marquee win against the Weirton Madonna Blue Dons (1-1). PCHS outlasted the Blue Dons 56-41, fresh off of Madonna’s blowout victory over out-of-state opponent St. John Central. Saturday proved that the Crusaderettes may be well on their way to another exciting season.

Tonight, the girls will look to pick up their fourth victory in a row over conference foe Wirt County (2-0). The Tigers present a tough challenge, also starting the season off hot with two victories over Ravenswood and Roane County, respectively. Varsity will tip-off at 7:00 PM and The Cru’s theme is “Gone Fishin'”.

Also, the Crusaderettes will debut a junior varsity squad for the first time this season, with two quarters of JV set to begin at 6:00 PM.
