Crusaders News · Catholic Schools Week Basketball Slate

PCHS Basketball returns to action this week as both teams have hit a hot streak heading into the back end of their schedules.

The boys basketball team will face two opponents this week, conference rival Ritchie County and Ohio foe Warren High School. The surging Crusaders (9-5) look to remain undefeated in conference play as they travel to face the struggling Rebels (3-11) on Tuesday night. Friday they will host the Warren Warriors (11-4) in a rare meeting between the two schools. The Crusaders have come off three straight victories and are looking to keep winning heading into the postseason.

After nearly a week break, the Crusaderettes (14-1) will return to action with three games over the course of the next four days. Tonight they travel to Clarksburg Notre Dame (12-4) to take on the Fighting Irish for a second time, winning the first contest by a score of 53-42. Tuesday and Thursday nights they will take on the Wirt County Tigers (8-7) and St. Mary’s Blue Devils (9-8), respectively. The Crusaderettes will look to keep hold of an undefeated conference record, 1st Place in the LKC, and an eight game winning streak alive with victories throughout the week.

All students and fans are encouraged to travel and support our basketball teams this Catholic Schools Week. Let’s Go Blue!
