Crusaders News · Crusaderettes Challenge for State Tournament Bid

Last week, the Crusaderettes secured home-court for the Regional Final through a hard fought, 64-60 victory over the Williamstown Yellow Jackets. The Sectional Championship is the second straight for PCHS, however there is still more work to be done. On Thursday night, the Crusaderettes will challenge the Tug Valley Lady Panthers in the Regional Co-Final, with a trip to Charleston on the line.

TVHS (16-7) enters the game coming off an 81-43 loss in the Section 2 Championship to No.1 ranked St. Joseph Central. The Crusaderettes and Lady Panthers have no common opponents on the schedule, however Tug Valley is expected to be a tough matchup for PCHS. The winner of the game will punch their ticket to the State Tournament, while the loser will go home for the season. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 PM on February 28th, and a theme is expected to be announced at school in the coming days. Let’s Go Blue!
