Crusaders News · Crusaders survive Notre Dame, will challenge Central

On the back of another great performance by Cade Ullman, the Crusaders came away with a 58-56 win over the #3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Wednesday morning. Ullman posted 33 points, knocking down six 3-pointers en route to a victory in the quarterfinal round.

Parkersburg Catholic will move on to play #2 Wheeling Central, who smacked the Williamstown Yellowjackets 60-35 later in the afternoon. The only prior meeting between the two schools was a 75-65 PCHS loss at home on January 19th. Since then the Crusaders have gone on a tear, losing only two games, winning both the Sectional and Regional Championships. PCHS will look to avenge their loss to the Maroon Knights Friday morning at 9:30 AM for a chance to appear in the State Championship. The Cru asks all students to wear white and come out in force to cheer the Crusaders to victory. Let’s Go Blue!
