The Crusader Volleyball team opens sectional tournament play tonight at Wirt, against the winner of the Calhoun and Ravenswood match up at 7:30. The Crusaders are ranked number one in the section, which earned them a first round bye in the double elimination tournament. If the team wins this evening, they will play tomorrow night

The Crusader Volleyball team defeated the Calhoun County Red Devils in four last night. The girls were coming off of a runner-up performance in the LKC Championship on Saturday. Crusaders vs Jackets

The Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders improved to (8-0) on the season after defeating the Fighting Irish on homecoming night. The Crusaders jumped out to a 22-0 lead on the Irish before the Irish then went on 14-0 run. The Crusaders were able to make some key plays in the second half to defeat the Irish 35-28.

Golf Regional Slated for Monday

On Monday, the PCHS Golf team will travel to Mason, WV in an attempt to qualify for States at Riverside Golf Club. The Regional Champions and Runners-Up will both qualify, as well the top two individuals not on those teams. The tournament will begin by shotgun start at 9 AM Monday morning.
