Cross Country team qualifies for State!

The PCHS boys high school cross country team qualified for the state championship by placing 4th out of 15 teams competing in the region IV race Thursday at Mineral Wells. Additionally, Cole Terosky, Jonathon Kammerer and Yogi Tomasch qualified individually for states, placing 11, 12 and 15, respectively. Jay Schaffer set a PR and placed

Cross Country Regionals

The Cross Country team has Regionals today in Mineral Wells. They are hoping to have a good showing and qualify for the state meet next week. Good luck Crusaders!

Kammerer and Terosky earn LKC honors

Cross country team ran in the LKC championship yesterday in Cowen WV. Jonathon Kammerer and Cole Terosky earned 2nd team all LKC placing 23rd and 24th. PCHS team place 8th overall out of 14 teams. Next race is regionals at Mineral Wells Thursday Oct 19th.

Kammerer medals at Wirt County Invitational

Cross country ran in the Wirt County Wetlands Invitational on Saturday. Jonathan Kammerer medaled placing 8th. Yogi Tomasch finished 13th and Jay Schaffer finished 14th. The next race is the LKC championship on Thursday Oct. 12.

Westrick earns LKC Honors

Congratulations Zarik Westrick on earning Second Team LKC at the Middle School Cross Country race today.

Tomasch and Kammerer medal

Cross Country ran at Ritchie yesterday, and Yogi and Jonathan medaled. Logan Ayers had a Personal Record. The race included big and small schools including South. Next race for the high school is Saturday at Wirt. Middle school runs in the Wood County Championship Tuesday at Mineral Wells and LKC championship Thursday.

School record set at Colt Invitational

The Cross Country team ran at the Colt Invitational Saturday at Meadowbrook HS where Jonathan Kammerer medaled placing 17th out of 195 runners and setting a new PCHS school record of 17 min 50.4 seconds. Also setting personal records where Logan Ayers, Trentin Westrick and Zarik Westrick.

Cross Country Weekend results

The cross country team ran the Chick-fil-A race at Mineral Wells this past weekend. PCHS placed 27th out of 32 teams. Jay Schaffer, Braedon Ayers, Logan Ayers and Zarik Westrick set personal records. Congratulations to the members of the cross country team, as they completed a very successful first season. The team worked hard and everyone improved on their times. The team will return all members next year.
